Goodman Logistics Center

Carlisle, PA

NDBS designed the HVAC systems for the two buildings at the Goodman Logistics Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The first building is a speculative warehouse designed to accommodate large distribution companies. The second is a 1,000,000-square-foot building, built out for syncreon, a logistics company that specializes in the design and operation of supply chain solutions for technology companies. The site was prepared for multiple buildings with a central fire pump house, and fire loop. NDBS designed the HVAC for the warehouses, electrical room and pump house. The design for the warehouse is a 55-degree indoor temperature (winter) and the summer ventilation rate at 1 air change per hour. The heating was accomplished with six (6) direct-fired make-up air units with factory installed non-fused disconnects, motor starters, filter sections, inlet temperature sensors, freeze protection and industrial control panels with night setback. The summer ventilation system features ten (10) up-blast fans with butterfly dampers, magnetic latches, and motors out of the air stream for serviceability. The fans are interlocked with twenty (20) combination louver/dampers factory painted with kynar finish.
