Advanced Surgical Care of Baton Rouge

This project includes a general office area, pre-op and recovery areas, and two (2) operating rooms. The facility was designed to maintain specific pressure relationships between its various use areas while controlling temperature and humidity in order to provide a sterile environment. The general office area is heated and cooled by a dedicated packaged rooftop unit. The remainder of the surgery facility is heated and cooled using a DX roof-mounted air handling unit with 30% pre-filters and 95% final filters, constant volume electric re-heat serving individual zones and controlled by a complete building automation system. The facility utilizes medical gas systems consisting of nitrogen, nitrous oxide, oxygen and vacuum systems. We have completed over 80 similar projects throughout the country and travel with SurgCenter Development, LLC as one of their preferred contractors.
