Greenhouse Program Management

This temperature-controlled greenhouse (across three different locations and ranging from 15-30 acres) will produce non-GMO fruits and vegetables free of herbicides and pesticides for distribution to grocers and restaurants in the United States. The strategic siting of this and other facilities permits access to fresh vegetables within a day’s drive of 70% of the United States’ population, resulting in less than 80% fewer diesel emissions generated compared to growers in the Southwest United States, Mexico, and Canada. For this project, NDBS is providing ongoing technical support and scope gap identification for controlled environment specialized systems and utilities. NDBS is providing mechanical design and installation services for systems within the headhouse and main office areas and plumbing design for competitive bidding.
