Wabco Compressor Manufacturing

WABCO chose Clayco to build the facility after outgrowing their existing space. The expansion was expected to create more than 50 new jobs, while maintaining 175 existing positions. WABCO uses the new facility to meet increased North American customer demand for air compressors and air disc brakes for commercial trucks. The new, 145,000-square-foot facility is located in North Charleston, South Carolina. Included in the overall space is a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing area, a 68,000-square-foot warehouse area, and a 16,000-square-foot office area. NDBS engineered complete HVAC systems for this entire manufacturing plant and adjoining main offices.
