Completed in two phases, this new facility allows Subaru to efficiently ship parts to its dealerships from South Jersey to Virginia. NDBS engineered the HVAC systems for both phases of the project, including a 526,000-square-foot warehouse, distribution, office, and training center; and an additional 504,000-square-foot fully-racked warehouse. NDBS installed the HVAC, including packaged rooftop units for the office area, direct fired make-up air units for warehouse heating and a combination of wall mounted louvers and roof mounted up blast fans for summer ventilation. We provided owner training on the heating and ventilation system to ensure proper operation, including a sequence that would pre-cool the building during the unoccupied overnight period to use less energy during the day.
