OGE Operating Center

Once again, Oklahoma Gas and Electric turned to National Design Build Services for their data center services. NDBS engineered and installed a state-of-the-art mechanical system for this Tier 3 mission critical facility. Housing highly sensitive data, this facility is required to remain in operation under the harshest of environments. All mechanical systems required full redundancy and are also required to remain in operation after natural disasters, as this facility houses the control center for the Natural Disaster Services Team. With the strict conditions demanded by data centers, the mechanical systems were designed and installed with full redundancy at every level including a redundant chilled water piping loop. To ensure the facility would remain in operation, a 5,500-gallon chilled-water storage tank was installed as another level of redundancy.
