Job Description:
National Design Build Services is a mechanical design/build firm that offers our customers knowledge and experience in designing air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems (HVAC/R) in commercial and industrial buildings. Our projects consist of Healthcare, Food Processing, Manufacturing, Warehouses, Office Buildings and Refrigerated Warehouses. Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable: create and enter monthly pay applications, reconcile billings, etc.
- Accounts payable: ensure proper approval and timely entry of invoices, reconcile statements, etc.
- Receive general contractor waiver requests and communicate with AP regarding waiver collections from subcontractors
- Review and reconcile job costs
- Attend monthly project manager meetings and take project-related notes
- Track action items resulting from monthly meetings with project manager group
- Review owner contracts to understand payment terms, cost of work definition and other requirements/allowances
- Work closely with project manager’s and project administrators, as well as accounting team, to promote financial organization and success of projects
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or associate degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel
- Work closely with accounting team on various general tasks as necessary
- Accuracy and high level of detail orientation
- Ability to meet required deadlines
- Must be authorized to work in the US NDBS will not be sponsoring an employment visa (e.g., H1-B, etc.) for this position.
